I absolutely loved this. I adore Hayden and Tenley. They are both broken people but their traumas are similar and they have a connection that they wouldn't be able to have with anyone else. This story starts shortly after Clipped Wings ends, with Tenley taking care of things back in Arden Hills. They both have a lot of issues from their pasts to overcome and they grow so much, both together and on their own. This is an emotional story that just wraps you up. I also enjoyed the parts that gave some insight into the people that cover themselves in ink and steel. Highly recommend this series, but start with Clipped Wings!
