My Thoughts:
Hayden and Tenley are both broken people just trying to cope. They are drawn to one another. Both have had horrible things happen to them, and both are afraid to reveal everything for fear of driving the other away. Their relationship is intense. This story has interesting insight into tattoos and piercings and the people that have them. This is not the end of their story and I'll be suffering until Inked Armor comes out. It is not necessary to read Cupcakes & Ink but it's a nice little novella that introduces Hayden and Tenley and I enjoyed it. If you enjoy a dark, intense love story, you will love this series.
